Robert R. Entze 1933-2019

Robert R. Entze, 86, of Emerado, died on April 5, 2019, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo.  Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. in Ascension Lutheran Church in Emerado.  Visitation was one hour before service time in the church. Burial was in Golgotha Cemetery in Golden Valley at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 15.

Robert R. Entze, a son of Fred and Elizabeth (Renner) Entze, was born on March 27, 1933 at Golden Valley.  He began his education in Golden Valley and graduating from high school in Beulah.  On October 28, 1953, he entered the US Army and was honorably discharged on October 27, 1955.  He returned home and began working for area farmers. He married Elma Jean Alger in Bismarck. They moved to Minot and Bob began working on the Minute Man Missile Silos.  In the late 60’s they moved to Emerado and Bob worked on the missiles near the base and later worked in Grand Forks Air Base in food service.  Then transferred to the motor pool where he worked as a mechanic.  He later retired.  Bob has continued to make Emerado his home.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping and also gardening.  Bob was a member of the Emerado City Council and Ascension Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Emerado Lion’s Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Entze of Colorado; his friend and former wife, Elma Jean and many nieces and nephews.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; a son Robert Entze; brothers, Art, Fred, Jake, Emanuel and Harold.

Arrangements are with the Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks.
