ALBERT FANDRICH

Services were held Monday, Jan. 18, 1988, for Albert Fanrich, 84, Hazen, who died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1988.

The Rev. Keith Ainsley conducted the service held at Peace Lutheran Church.

Mr. Fandrich was born March 20, 1903, at Hazen to Ferdinand and Barbara (Wallawin) Fandrich. He married Othelia Machau March 31, 1925, at Golden Valley.  She died Oct. 19, 1967. He married Rose Goyne Dec. 12, 1974, at Hazen. He farmed north of Hazen all of his adult life, until retirement two years ago.

He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Ruth Mettler, Mrs. Walter (Esther) Mittelsteadt, and Mrs. Theodore (Luella) Wolf, all of Hazen, and Mrs. Jerry (June) Sullivan, Bay City, Wis.; four sons, Theodore, Douglas and James, all of Hazen, and Roy, Manfred; two step-daughters, Linda Weigum, Washington, and Janice Goyne, Bismarck; three stepsons, Arthur Goyne, Fargo, Alvin Goyne, Washington, and David Goyne, Bismarck; 28 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, one daughter, one son, five grandchildren, six brothers and three sisters.

Pallbearers were Lee John Fandrich, Robert Mettler, David E. Mittelsteadt, Kelly Heier, Gene Wolf, and James Sullivan.

Arrangements were conducted by Aarthun-Goetz Funeral Home of Hazen.
