Delores Isaak
May 4, 1933-November 26, 1996

Delores Isaak, 63, a resident of the Knife River Care Center, Beulah, N.D., formerly of Hazen, N.D., died Tuesday, November 26, 1996, at the Knife River Care Center, Beulah, N.D.  Services were held Friday, November 29, 1996, at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Hazen, N.D., with Rev. David Suelzle officiating.  Burial followed in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Hazen.  Serving as pallbearers were David Isaak, Randy Isaak, Glen Sailer, Jim Sailer, Larry Weisz and Dale Ziemann.

She was born May 4, 1933, in Krem, N.D., a daughter of David and Rosalia (Guenthner) Isaak. She was baptized at the Trinity Lutheran Church near Pick City, N.D.  In the fall of 1951, she moved to Grafton, N.D., to the State School of Grafton. After her time in Grafton, she moved to San Haven, N.D., to another State School. In 1986, she moved to the Knife River Group Home in Hazen, N.D., and lived there until July of 1996 when she moved to the Knife River Care Center, Beulah, N.D. She enjoyed music, playing cards, swinging, looking at pictures, she loved to be around people and cuddling up close to her teddy bears. She touched many lives with just her smile.

She is survived by six sisters, Elsie Sailer of Garrison, N.D., Lorentina Weisz of Hazen, N.D., Gertrude Ziemann, of Dickinson, N.D., Hildegard Wallender of Hazen, N.D., Selma Unterseher of Bismarck, N.D., and Jeanette Zeller, of Spokane, Wash.  Three brothers, Walter and Armond Isaak of Hazen, N.D. and Elmer Isaak of The Dalles, Oregon, and numerous nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Othmer Isaak.
