Hulda was born July 31, 1927, a daughter of Phillip and Emma (Scheid) Morast. She was raised on a farm north of Beulah and attended rural school. Hulda married Walter Isaak on July 11, 1948, at Trinity Lutheran Church, at Kronthal. Their first home was at Stanton. They lived in Hazen prior to moving to the Isaak family farm north of Hazen. After 32 years they moved to the present home west of Pick City. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of rural Hazen. Hulda was active in Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, quilting, Bible study and German Club. She taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School for many years. Hulda devoted her entire life to her family, church and many dear friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hulda was loved by her family and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her husand, Walter of 54 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Phil Eastgate, Beulah, Valerie and Tom Sayler, Stanton; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Cheryl Isaak, Hazen, Kevin and Barb Isaak, Hazen; 17 grandchildren and spouses; two great granddaughters; four sisters, Ida Giesinger, Bismarck, Erna Galster, Van Nuyes, CA., Lorena Olson, Terry, MT, Agnes Luft, Moscow, ID; one brother, Ray Morast, Hazen.

Hulda was preceded in death by her parents; one son-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law.
