BEULAH—John Maas, 84, a resident of the Joachim Memorial Home here, died in a Bismarck hospital at 4:45 p.m. Saturday as a result of complications following injuries received when he was struck by a car on a Beulah street July 2.

Whether the death will be listed as a traffic fatality awaits a finding of the Mercer County coroner, based upon a medical report of the autopsy which he is expected to receive within a week. Mr. Maas had suffered a broken hip.

He married Katherina Kruckenberg Dec. 12, 1897. After her death in 1909, he married Maria Reith Kruckenberg, who died in 1931.
