PAUL E. OSTER

Paul E. Oster, 74, died on Aug. 20, 1992, at his residence in Long Beach, Wash.  Services where held Aug. 26, at Ocean Park.

Mr. Oster was born on Aug. 19, 1918, in Bismarck to Benjamin and Lydia (Frank) Oster. He spent his early years in Hazen, where he graduated from high school in 1936. He graduated from Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa, with a degree in physics. He married Ida Mattheis on July 13, 1941, and the couple moved to Seattle, where Mr. Oster was employed by Boeing Aircraft.  The Osters moved to Long Beach a year ago, and became members of Lutheran Family Fellowship in Ocean Park, Wash.  He enjoyed his family, fishing, golfing, building and remodeling.

Survivors include his wife Ida at home; sons Donald of Bellevue, Wash., and Jerome of Yorktown, Va.; daughters, Marilyn Wetherhult of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jackie Oster of Redmond, Wash.; sister, Natalie Oster of Hazen; brothers, Herman of Bowman and Edwin of Hazen; and two grandchildren.
