DIANE SAILER, 53, of Bismarck, formerly of Hazen, North Dakota, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at MedCenter One in Bismarck, ND. Services will be held at 2:00 PM CDT on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Barbot-Seibel Funeral Home, Hazen with Father Johnson Kuriappilly officiating. Burial will follow at St. Martin Catholic Cemetery, Hazen. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Diane, the daughter of Clements and Rose (Lang) Weigum, was born on May 19, 1958 in Hazen. She was raised and educated in Hazen where she graduated in 1976. In 1981, she married Jeff Erling and moved to Zap, ND where they had one daughter, Maggie. In (1997) she married James Sailer of Pick City and they moved to Las Vegas, NV, where she remained until 2010 when she moved to Bismarck. Diane enjoyed sewing, macramé, putting puzzles together and visiting with people. She also had a love of family history. Diane is survived by her daughter, Maggie of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Joanne (Duane) Ternes of Strasburg, ND and Jean (Mike) Scheet of Bismarck; six nieces and nephews, Jennifer Kummer, Deanne Hice, Paul, Sarah, Leanne and Carlene Ternes. Diane was preceded in death by an infant son, Devon Cole and her parents.
