DONLEY JAMES SAILER

Donley James Sailer, of St. Helens, Oregon, died September 24, 1997, in a Portland hospital.  He was 60 years old.

Mr. Sailer was born January 2, 1937, in Hazen, North Dakota, and moved to St. Helens in 1971. He was a member of Iron Workers Union Local 29 in Portland and St. Helens Elks Lodge 1999. He was also an honorary member of the St. Helens High School Booster Club. He was affiliated with Calvary Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Sailer; sons, Ken of Scappoose and Gary of California; daughters, Chris Cooper and Kollette Lee, both of Ridgefield, Washington; a sister, Geraldine Scott, of Selah, Washington; a former wife, Betty Teske of California; and seven grandchildren.

Services were held September 29, 1997, at Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial was in Columbia Memorial Gardens.
