54-YEAR OLD HELMUTH SAILER, DIES UNEXPECTEDLY

Funeral services were held Thursday for Helmuth P. Sailer, 54, of rural Hazen. Mr. Sailer passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 23, 1963, in the afternoon at the Sailer farm home. He had been under treatment for heart ailment.

Mr. Sailer, son of Adam and Pauline Sailer, was born at rural Hazen July 22, 1909. He grew up in Mercer County and attended school in the county. Unmarried, he farmed with his brothers on their farm 14 miles north of Hazen.

Surviving Mr. Sailer are his mother of Wheatland, Wyoming; eight brothers, Richard and William of Hazen, North Dakota, Tobias of Pick City, North Dakota, Albert of Stanton, North Dakota, Eldor and Arthur of Wheatland, Wyoming, Edwin of Torrington, Wyoming, and Bernard of Platte, South Dakota; and two sisters, Mrs. Norman (Bertha) Adams of Wheatland, Wyoming and Mrs. Harold (Helen) Ziemann of Riverton, Wyoming.

Officiating at the last rites held at the Peace Lutheran Church was Rev. David Genter. Interment was at the Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers were Herbert, Walter, and Ernest Hafner, Carl Menge, Harold J. Miller, and Reinhold Wittmayer. Active pallbearers were Dale Miller, Glen, Dallas, James, Willis and Donald Sailer.

Aarthun Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral details.
