ROBERT SAILER
ENTERED INTO ETERNAL REST
FRIDAY, MARCH 11, 1966

STANTON—The funeral for Robert Lee Sailer, 27, Pick City, who died Friday night in a one-car accident east of Riverdale, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 in Our Savior Lutheran Church at Stanton.

Rev. Stanley Donlan will officiate with burial in the Stanton Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post of Stanton.  Pallbearers will be Wilbert Harsch, Roger Suess, Kenneth Kautzman, Dale Ziemann, Leslie Lang and Nestor Kilber.  Aarthun Funeral Home of Hazen has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sailer was born February 12, 1939, in Hazen, North Dakota, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Sailer. The family lived on a farm north of Hazen and later at Stanton before moving to Pick City in 1955.

He attended Stanton schools and served in the U.S. Army from July 19, 1963, to July 11, 1965. He was a construction worker at the time of his death.

Survivors include his parents, Tobias and Elsie (Isaak) Sailer of Pick City; nine brothers, Glenn of Stanton, Jackie with the U.S. Navy in San Diego, and James, Stanley, Willis, Perry, Bruce, LeRoy and Thomas all at home; four sisters, Mrs. Joe (Joan) McCloud, Pick City, and Judy, Lavonne and Yvonne all at home; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Pauline Sailer, Pick City; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Rosalia Isaak, Hazen.

One brother preceded him in death.
