DELBERT E. STUART, JR.

Delbert E. Stuart, 45, of Baker, Montana, passed away peacefully by his family on Saturday, September 30, 1995, at the Fallon Medical Complex after a long illness. He was born on June 26, 1950, the son of Delbert E. and Ella Rink Stuart Sr. Del was married to Judy Sailer on June 30, 1967, in Glendive, Montana. Del started and operated the Solid State Electronics business in 1976. In 1982, he purchased the Baker bowling alley and operated it until 1992. Del enjoyed anything mentally challenging, reading, electronics and playing the guitar. His greatest love was for his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include, his wife of 26 years, Judy of Baker, a son Tye Stuart and his wife Chris of Billings, a daughter Dawn Wyrwas and her husband Jerry of Baker; four grandchildren, Amanda, Alyssa, Molly and Matthew; his mother, Ella Stuart Classen of Custer; three sisters, Marion Perrin and her husband Lee of Custer, Montana, Patty Lammers and her husband Dennis of Osceola, IA, and Ann Entzel and her husband, Reuben of Townsend, Montana; four brothers, Greg Stuart and his wife, Terry, of Bozeman, Montana, Douglas Stuart of Billings, Montana, and Michael Stuart and his wife, Tanya, of Billings, Montana. He was preceded in death b y his father, Delbert E. Stuart, Sr. and two sisters, Sharon Wing and Grace Stuart.

A prayer service will be held Monday, October 2, 1995, at 7:30 p.m. in the Stevenson Funeral Home of Baker. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 3, 1995, at 2:00 p.m. in the American Lutheran Church with Pastor Dave Olson officiating. Burial will be in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Baker. Stevenson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
