William "Bill" Ziemann

William “Bill” Ziemann, 79, Bismarck, passed away September 7, 2023, in his home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Bismarck Funeral Home.

Bill was born on December 26, 1943, in Hazen ND to William and Irene (Tschaekofske) Ziemann. He was raised and educated in Stanton and graduated from Stanton High School.

Bill was united in marriage to Alice Schneider on February 27, 1965, in Bismarck. Bill worked various construction jobs and retired from Cretex in Menoken, ND.

Bill is survived by his son Darin, daughter Stacy (Ryan) Fennewald, grandchildren, Sierra Lindstrom, Cadance and Alexus Fennewald, sister, Connie (Jim) Woodwick, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, wife Alice, In-laws, Alex and Rose Schneider, brother-in-law Johnny Schneider, sister-in-law Ilene Horning and nephew, Wayne Schneider.

He felt it not the manly thing to do.
Yet, deep within my heart I know that love was really there.
His eyes, his touch, the things he did all told me that it’s true.
And now it is time to say “Goodbye” to Father and to Friend.
