Maurice Leonard Beeson, son of William Beeson and Lulu
Smith, was born in Malcolm, Nebraska on December 14, 1887. Hazel Marian Brown, daughter of Willis
Brown and Clara Belle VanCamp, was born June 3, 1890. They were married on October 19,
1928. Maurice entered the service on
June 14, 1918. He served in the field
artillery as an instructor at the Motor School, Camp Zachary Taylor,
Kentucky. They were the parents of
one son, Bob Brown, born November 18, 1932 in Norfolk. He attended school in Norfolk and served
in the U S Navy from 1951 through 1954. Bob married Helen Louise Kinnan on August 21, 1955. Helen was the daughter of Floyd Kinnan and
Mildred Anette Leet. Their children: Marian Anette, Leonard Eugene, Tammy
Louise, and Freddie Bair. During
their life, the family lived in California, New Mexico, Minnesota and
Nebraska. Maurice died on February 3,
1948 and Hazel on July 11, 1966.
