Wilson Sellery Bennett, son of Willard Johnson Bennett and
Margaret May Lee, was born April 10, 1895 on the family farm east of Neligh
and then lived there for 44 years. Wilson
learned farming from his father. In
1935 he married Anne Gadeken. They
were the parents of six children: Larry, Joan married Gerald Miller, Marlene married Richard Anderson, Nancy
married Larry Baker, Laura married Robert Botelho and Shirley married Roger Nielsen.
