Judson Graves came to Neligh, Nebraska from Chicago,
Illinois. He established the Neligh “Advocate”
in August 1881. His wife, Anna,
worked with him on the paper. Three
children were born: Edna, Logan, and
Wyman. Wyman Graves was Neligh City
Clerk (1921-22). He moved to
California with Elsie Bohnert, his wife, in 1923.
