Merle Kallhoff, son of Melvin Kallhoff and Patricia
Starman, was born on January 10, 1963 at Norfolk, Nebraska. He attended rural, St Boniface and Pope
John schools. He has been farming
with his father and brothers and raises hogs. Janet McKillip, daughter of James MckiIlip and Mary Ann Nelson,
was born on June 19, 1964. She
attended school at Neligh and graduated high school in 1982. She attended Kearney State College and
graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She teaches in Holt County. Merle had eight brothers and sisters and Janet had one sister and
three brothers. They recently
purchased a farm north of Elgin.
