Vic Kathol, son of Ralph Kathol and Ursula Heimes, was
born January 3, 1941 in Hartington, Nebraska and graduated from Holy Trinity
High School. He is the oldest of 12
brothers and sisters. He went to
college at Benedictine College in Kansas for two years and transferred to Creighton
University. Lorraine Rynaski,
daughter of Joseph Rynaski and Isabelle Slizeski, was born on May 17, 1942
and graduated from Mercy High School and went to the University College of
Medicine. She and Vic were married on
April 27, 1963 were the parents of 10 children: Mike, Jeff, Charlene, Mary, Debbie, Joan, Nancy, Ann, Chris, and
Jim. The family moved to Elgin in
1980.
