Louis Frederick Kerkman, son of William Kerkman and Luella
Kuester, was born at Elgin, Nebraska on January 1, 1929. He attended St Boniface school. Margaret June Hoefer, daughter of Henry
Hoefer and Margaret Jochum, was born on January 6, 1930 at Sutherland,
Nebraska and attended rural school and graduated from St Patrick’s High
School in North Platte, Nebraska in 1947. Louis and June were married on October 30, 1950 in North Platte. They are the parents of seven
children: Connie, Barbara, Mike,
Janice, Marvin, Jerry and Steve.
