Harmon P., son of George Lichty and Mary Blair, homesteaded northwest of Brunswick, Nebraska when he came to Antelope County in 1883.  He was born in Pennsylvania.  He married Jane Miller in 1874.  He and his wife, Jane Miller, raised five sons and two daughters to adulthood.  June Lichty married Jim Swan and they had two sons, Floyd and Ivan.  Alexander Lichty married Lizzie Heiter and farmed east of Grove lake for more than 60 years.  They had three sons, Perry, Elmer and Harmon.  David Lichty married Hattie Napier and they had two sons, Cecil and Archie.  John Lichty married Mabel Clifton and were parents of Jane, Fern and Ray.  Walter Lichty married Lulu Bledsoe.  Their children were: Merle, Fae, Violet and Ina Mae.  Merle married Francis Lingenfelter, three children; Fae married and lives on the west coast; Violet married Wayne Smith; three children; Ina Mae married Richard Huston and farm in the Brunswick community, one daughter.  Robert Lichty married Mary and one son, Arlow.  Flossie Lichty, the youngest of H P and Jane, married Fred Anson, two children. Jane Miller Lichty died in 1917.  H P married Mae Pauley Denney.  He died in 1939.
