Francis LeRoy Stringfellow (1911-1973) attended the University of Nebraska, then married Blanche Kuhns of Brunswick and Neligh. He became manager of the Neligh Stringfellow Service Station. Later he took over the management of all the stations. He and Blanche made their home in Neligh until 1949 when they moved to Seattle, Washington where he was associated for more than 20 years with Boeing Aircraft. Their son, John Irving, married Lorraine Susuki. They live in Hawaii with their children, Ryan, Jay and Rene. A son, David LeRoy died soon after birth.
