Jesse Mervin Stringfellow (1908-1965) attended the
University of Nebraska. He married
Charlotte D Curtis of Neligh. They
moved to Elgin where he managed the Stringfellow Service Station for one year
before moving to Albion, Nebraska to manage a station there. He joined the Skelly Oil Company as a
sales representative. The family
lived in Illinois, Minnesota and Kansas City before retiring to Florida. Their children are Jeanne Marie who
married Dr. Jimmie Underwood. Their
children: Jeffrey Scott, James Curtis, Jane Charleen, John David and Jan
Curtis. Jan married Linda Glaze.
