BERTHA
EMMA TIMM was born October 22, 1896 and married Guy Fredinburg. The had one daughter, Leota. Guy farmed north of Oakdale when they were
first married, then moved to Tilden were Guy did custom work and was a
mechanic in a garage. They moved back
to Oakdale and Guy was employed by the county. In the early 1940’s they moved to Neligh and Guy worked for the
Chevrolet Garage until he became ill. Bertha taught Sunday School and Bible
Class for some 27 years. After Guy
passed away on February 23, 1967, Bertha moved to Plainview, Nebraska to live
close to her daughter. Bertha died on
December 26, 1980. Leota was born at
Oakdale and married Albert Chavet and they had one son, Rex. He married Nadine Wiese and they have four
children.
