Clark, son of Cecil and Verna E Anderson, graduated from Neligh High School in 1942 and went on active duty in the Navy at a V-12 V-5 unit in Crete, Nebraska on November 1, 1943.  He served with an amphibious unit on Okinawa.  He was released from active duty on August 2, 1946 at Great Lakes, Illinois.  He married Avis A. Hill in 1952.  They have two children.  He is retired after working as a teacher and school administrator.
