Marvin L. Foster enlisted in the Navy on January 24, 1946 and received his training in California.  He served aboard the USS Pitt and USS W C Cole in the Pacific and in Japan.  He was discharged on November 7, 1947.  He married Wanda Huston and they had four children.  He farmed for a while and then worked as a parts man and salesman in Nebraska and California.  He died on October 4, 1984.
