CELESTINE ALEXANDER CHAPMAN BOLDT

Graveside services for Mrs. Rudolph (Celestine) BOLDT, 89, of Plainview were conducted December 21 in the Oakdale Cemetery by the Rev. Fred C. GARDNER of Plainview. Celestine Alexander Chapman BOLDT was born December 25, 1883 at Valley Junction, Wisconsin. She died December 21, 1973 in the Plainview Hospital. At the age of 14 years she moved with her family to Oakdale. On February 27, 1901 she married Clarence E. CHAPMAN at Cedar Creek. They were the parents of four children. They lived on a farm south of Oakdale. On June 15, 1925, she married Rudolph BOLDT of Plainview. He died in October 1955. Mrs BOLDT continued to live in Plainview following her husband’s death and also lived with a daughter for a time. She later became a resident of Brunswick Rest Manor where she made her home until May 1972 when she moved to Plainview Manor. Survivors include tow daughters, Goldie BOHENOUR of Denver, Colorado and Violet BURNS of Sebring, Florida, a son, Lyle CHAPMAN of Denver, Colorado, a stepson, Bill BOLDT of Grand Island, a stepdaughter, Mrs Beulah BENDIXEN of Watertown, Wisconsin, eight grandchildren and several step great grandchildren. Mrs BOLDT was also preceded in death by a son, Wallace, at five months, her first husband and a stepdaughter, Mrs George (Ruth) ENGEL of Plainview.
