EMMA WAEGLI BUCKMASTER

Funeral services for Emma BUCKMASTER, 71, of Seward, were held at 9:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 1991 at St Vincent's dePaul Catholic Church in Seward. Rev. Father, OLMSTED officiated. Graveside services and interment were at the Oakdale Cemetery with the Rev. Father Robert SCHMITZ officiating. Pallbearers were Thomas GREEN, Arnold WEID, Earl GRAVES, Ben ROLFSMEIER Jr., Dean SCHULTZ and Duece MORAVEC. Mrs BUCKMASTER died at Seward on April 3, 1991. She was born, the daughter of Chester WAEGLI and Anna ( ) BINDER on December 29,1919 in Elgin. She attended parochial school in Elgin. She was united in marriage to George BUCKMASTER on September 22, 1938 at Tilden. The family was engaged in farming and lived on farms near Tilden and Newman Grove. In 1956 they moved to Seward where they lived the rest of their married life. She was a member of the St Vincent's dePaul Catholic Church, the Seward Army Mothers and Seward VFW Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Donald and Eugene, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include her husband, two sons George Jr. and Melvin, one brother Edward WAEGLI, one sister Mrs Catherine PORTER and two grandchildren..

George W. BUCKMASTER

Funeral services for George W. Buckmaster, who died March 22, 1948, were held Wednesday at the Marshall Chapel in Tilden with Rev. Dale Westadt officiating. Burial was made in the Oakdale Cemetery. He was born October 22, 1879 in Boone county and spent most of his life in this vicinity. He was united in marriage to Jennie Black on December 29, 1907 at Neligh. Surviving him are his wife; four sons, Frank Buckmaster of California, Elmer Buckmaster and Glen Buckmaster of Tilden, George Buckmaster of Petersburg; two daughters Mrs. Leona Werner, Oakdale, and Mrs. Inez Drake, Sioux City, Iowa; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Aronhalt, Oakdale, Mrs. Olive Hilliard, Washington, Mrs. Clarise Hertz, Idaho, Mrs. Blanche Barnum, South Dakota; two brothers, Art Buckmaster and Clyde Keck, Lincoln, Nebraska.
