Faye DIETZ

(Victim of Shooting) Funeral services were held at 2 pm, Saturday in the Methodist Church at Neligh for Faye Dietz. The Rev Harold J. Coates officiated and burial was in Laurel Hill cemetery. Pallbearers were Leland Brittell, Chester Smityh, Gene Udey, Walter Schrage, Donald Velder and Leon McCoy. He Was Born May 12, 1932 at Pierce to Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Deitz, now of Neligh. On May 18, 1950 he was married to Darlene Bennett at O'Neill. They spent most of their married life in Oakdale where he was in the construction business. Survivors include his widow, Darlene; two sons, Bradley and Tom, and a daughter, Pam, all at home; his parents; one brother, Richard Dietz of Battle Creek; and four sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Adeline) Hasse and Mrs. Harley (Alice) Hasse, both of Norfolk, Mrs. Merriman (Dorothy) Horton of Billings, Mont., and Mrs. Arvin (Ruth) Anson of Clearwater.
