MARY ADELINE EDWARDS

Mary Adeline ELLIS was born in Brattleboro, Vermont on December 24, 1869, and died at her home in Oakdale on April 17, 1940, aged seventy years three months and twenty-four days. She was united in marriage to Herbert EDWARDS at Halifax, Vermont, on November 20, 1883, and to this union were born eight children, three sons and five daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband in November, 1937, and one daughter, Faye HART. She leaves to mourn her death her sons, Fred EDWARDS of Broadus, Montana, Ray EDWARDS of Portland, Oregon and Ralph EDWARDS of Oakdale; her daughters, Mrs. Mable WELLS of Oakdale, Mrs. Lena DUNBAR of Kearney, Mrs. Pearl MASTERS of Arcadia and Mrs. Louise OLIN o North Platte; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters and one brother in New Hampshire and many friends.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church in Tilden Friday afternoon with Rev. H. E. Patteson in charge. Interment was in the IOOF cemetery at Tilden.
