FRANKLIN D. GRIFFITH JR.

Funeral services for Franklin D. GRIFFITH Jr., 32, of Neligh, were held Thursday, August 29, 1991, at Grace Lutheran Church in Neligh. Rev. Glen SCHULTZ officiated. Burial was at the Oakdale Cemetery with arrangements by Hoepfinger-Beyer Funeral Home of Neligh. Pallbearers were Bruce OFE, Joe THIEMAN, Tim FLENNIKEN, Mike KALLHOFF, Tom MCDONALD, and Randy MACK. Honorary pallbearers were Darryl LIERMAN, Don MURRAY Jr, Curtis WATERBURY, John KRAFT, Tony BULLOCK, Dave DETLEFSEN and Dave ANDERSON. GRIFFITH, the son of Franklin and Margaret (PETERSON) GRIFFITH, was born April 13, 1959 at Blair. He attended school at Blair and Upland and graduated from Neligh-Oakdale High School in 1978. On April 22, 1979, he married Mary L REED at Norfolk. He had been employed as manager of H & I Grain Co. and was associated with his father in the trucking business. GRIFFITH died Monday, August 26, 1991 at his home. He was preceded in death by one grandmother and both grandfathers. Survivors include his parents, wife, a son, Franklin, a daughter, Sarah Jo, a brother, Martin of Norfolk, two sisters, Mrs Wayne (LeeAnn) SCHWAGER of Royal and Mrs Lawrence (Lori Jo) Dexter of Neligh, and grandmother, Florence PETERSEN of Minden.

VONDA EDWARDS GRIFFITH

Services for Vonda GRIFFITH, 60, Neligh, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Neligh Congregational Church. The Rev. Kenneth HOUGLAND will officiate and burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery. The body will lie in state Tuesday, 3-9 p.m. at Hoepfinger-Beyer Funeral Home in Neligh. Born April 14, 1917, to Mr and Mrs Arthur Edwards, she died Sunday, November 30, 1977, at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh. On October 31, 1958 she was married to Frank L. GRIFFITH at Albion. She was a lifetime resident of the Neligh area. Surviving are her husband, four sons, Frank D. of Neligh, Robert of Lincoln, Arthur of Neligh and Larry of Meadow Grove, 12 grandchildren, one sister, Mrs Vern HOSCHIET of Plainview. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
