Obituary-The Oakdale Sentinel-January 4, 1934

George HAINES

George HAINES was born in St Joseph, Missouri, July 12, 1872 and died at Oakdale, Nebraska, December 24, 1933. In 1898 he was united in marriage to Nellie PEETS of Oakdale. To this union seven children were born, two sons, Lloyd and Ralph preceded him in death. Living children are Earl E of Norfolk, Ervil of Elgin, Mrs Claude HASHBERGER of Oakdale, Mrs Lyle LEWIS of Neligh and Edwin at home. Beside his wife and children he is survived by one sister, Mrs Sarah STEARNS of Lincoln, Nebraska and one brother, Clarence HAINES of Milacca, Minnesota. Funeral services were conducted at the United Brethren Church at two o’clock Thursday afternoon, December 28 by the pastor. Interment in the Oakdale Cemetery.

JEFFREY ALLEN HAINES

Jeffrey Allen HAINES, infant son of Mr and Mrs Leonard HAINES of Oakdale, died Monday, December 28, 1970 at Antelope Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 30 at 2 p.m. at Hoepfinger Home for Funerals with Alvin SCHWARTING of Oakdale officiating. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery. The infant was born October 14, 1970 at Antelope Memorial Hospital and is survived by his parents and grandparents, Mr and Mrs Albert PETERS of Oakdale and Mr and Mrs Fred HAINES of Norfolk.

Lloyd, three week old son of Mr and Mrs George HAINES, died Sunday, February 28, 1909, and was buried in the Oakdale Cemetery on Tuesday.
