DORRITT WILGOCKI HEINTZ

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5 at the Hoepfingers Home for Funerals at Neligh for Mrs Dorritt HEINTZ, with Rev C. J. BUEHLER of Elgin officiating at the service. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery. Dorritt HEINTZ, daughter of Henry and Mary WILGOCKI, was born August 21, 1895 at Pierce and died May 27, 1968 at Seattle, Washington at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 6 days. She received her education in Antelope County rural schools and graduated from Elgin public high school. She attended Wayne State Normal and later received a Bachelor of Arts degree in education at the Pacific Lutheran University at Tacoma, Washington. She spent most of her years as a teacher, the last 17 years of her career at Fife Junior High, from which she retired in 1961. She was a member of the Methodist Church, daughters of American Revolution, order of Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge and Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority. Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie I. HEINTZ of Bainbridge Island, brother, Henry WILGOCKI of Elgin and sister, Mrs Jim ARMSTRONG of New Plymouth, Idaho, one nephew and one niece.
