BIRDIE ELMIRA WILDERMUTH KENNEDY

Funeral services for Mrs Birdie Elmira KENNEDY were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, march 7, at the Church of Christ in Oakdale with burial in the Oakdale Cemetery. Mr Alvin SCHWARTING officiated at the service and Mr Kenneth BECKMAN of Boise, Idaho, son-in-law of the deceased, delivered the eulogy. Memorial services for Mrs Kennedy were held at Lamb’s Mortuary in Pasadena, California, on Saturday, March 3. Birdie Elmira Kennedy was born October 4, 1883, at Oakdale to Edwin c. WILDERMUTH and Julia Ann REAGLES and died at Pasadena, California on February 28. She left Oakdale in 1937 and had been a resident of California since that time. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Raymond (Ada) SCHUCHARDT of Amity, Oregon, Mrs Kenneth (Martha) BECKMAN of Boise, Idaho, and Mrs Thomas (Ramona) WOODS of Altadena, Georgia; three sons, Loren KEISER of seaside, Oregon, Mervin KEISER of Muskegon, Michigan, and Alfred Kennedy of Permian, California; one stepdaughter, Mrs Albert (Lora) PETERS of Oakdale and one niece, Mrs Raymond (Ellen) TAYLOR of Oakdale.

GLENN EDWIN KENNEDY

Glenn Edwin KENNEDY was born October 14, 1924 and passed away March 20, 1925 aged four months and six days. Father, mother brothers and sisters will miss this bright little flower from their home, but the Father of all has transplanted him into his own wonderful garden under his own wonderful care. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. SMALL at the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon, March 22, and burial was made in the Oakdale Cemetery.

WILLIAM R KENNEDY

This community was surprised and shocked to learn of the sudden death of W. R. KENNEDY last Friday morning after an illness of only about two hours. He was in apparent good health up to the time he was stricken with apoplexy about six o’clock Friday morning and death came shortly afterwards in spite all that could be done for him. William R. KENNEDY was born May 2, 1869 at Skimore, MO. And died at his home southwest of Oakdale, March 11, 1927 at the age of 58 years, 11 months and 14 days. He was married in Missouri in the year 1890 to Emma WING and to them were born eight children. He came to Oakdale in 1917 and was married to Mrs Birdie KEISER and to them were born four children, one preceding him in death. He united with the Methodist Church when a young man and remained so until death. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon, March 13 and interment was made in the Oakdale Cemetery.
