MARY HAINES WHITECRAFT LAMBERT

Abridged: Mary HAINES was born February 23, 1828 in Muskingum County, Ohio and died November 1, 1912 at the home of her daughter, Mrs J. D. KESLING in Cedar Township. She was married to George WHITECRAFT in 1847. Seven children were born to them, five of who preceded her in death. Two sons survive: Frank WHITECRAFT of Bear, Idaho and Elmon WHITECRAFT. In 1863 her husband died and in 1867 she married Sherebiah LAMBERT. To them were born two children, one died in infancy and one in early childhood. Funeral services were held Sunday, conducted by Rev. J. P. BLAKELEY and the remain interred in the Oakdale Cemetery.

SHEREBIAH LAMBERT

Abridged: S. LAMBERT was born in Indiana, November 25, 1825 and died May 6, 1909 at the home of his daughter, Mrs J. D. KESLING in Cedar township, Antelope County, Nebraska. He was married in 1850 to Louisa SMITH of Indiana. They moved in 1853 to Benton County, Iowa. Five children were born of this union; George S of Saunders County, David A of Custer County, Uel M of Oregon, Mrs J. D. KESLING and one daughter died in infancy. His wife died in 1860 and in 1961 he married Catherine KETTERMAN and to them two children were born, William K, who died in Oregon in 1897 and Mrs Della OLDAKER who resides in Portland, Oregon. In 1866 he was widowed and in 1867 he married Mary WHITECRAFT who survives him. Two children were born to them, both dying early. Funeral services were held at the United Brethren Church on Friday May 7 at 2 p.m. Rev. E. B. CUNNINGHAM officiated. The remains were interred in the Oakdale Cemetery.
