Mrs. Freeman B. OLIN

Funeral services for Mrs. Cynthia Olin, 80, who died at her home here last Thursday evening, February 26, after several weeks illness, were held at the Marshall mortuary in Tilden Sunday afternoon. Rev. Dale Westadt, Methodist minister, officiated. Burial was made in the Tilden Cemetery.

Cynthia Ellen DEMPSEY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John DEMPSEY, was born May 5, 1867, near Vinton, Iowa. The family came to Filmore County, Nebraska, and after several years they returned to Iowa.

The Dempseys again moved to Nebraska in 1886, locating near Mills, in Keya Paha County and moving to Antelope County in 1887, locating south of Oakdale where they remained for the rest of their lives.

Cynthia Dempsey was married to Freeman B. OLIN July 3, 1888. They were the parents of ten children. One daughter and two sons preceded their mother in death, as did Mr. Olin, who died in July 1908.

Mrs. Olin is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Minnie MUCKEY, Kent, WA., Mrs. Ella CRISS, Omaha; five sons, Walter OLIN, Auburn, WA., Thomas OLIN, Rosemead, Ca., William OLIN, Bremerton, WA., Arden OLIN, Grand Island and Earl OLIN; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
