ELIZABETH M OSBORNE

Died on Friday, January 11, 1889, at the home of her parents in this town, Miss Elizabeth M ,oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs Geo. Osborne, aged nearly 20 years. She was born in Michigan in May, 1869 and came with her parents to this state in 1873. The deceased was one of those bright spirits that are always attractive to their companions. Just blooming into mature womanhood with good health and the many possibilities of a pleasant life apparently just within reach. It is not surprising that her sickness and early death should elie it the tenderest sympathy for her bereaved parents who have thus so soon been called to part with another of the dear ones of their household. Her funeral services were conducted by Prof. Wilson at the Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday the thirteenth, where a large concourse of citizens, the school mates, teachers and friends of the deceased bade a tearful adieu to her whom time had cut down as are the early midsummer flowers of the early mowing. "Be ye also ready ".
