ORVILLE A. OVERTON

uneral services for Orville A. OVERTON, 67, of Oakdale, were held Monday, September 29 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Oakdale. Alvin SCHWARTING officiated at the services with burial in the Oakdale Cemetery. He was born April 10, 1913 at Creighton to Mr and Mrs John OVERTON and died Thursday, September 25, 1980 at the Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh. He attended Neligh schools and married Mabel F. HOPPEL on August 13, 1936 at Neligh. OVERTON worked as a mason. Survivors include his wife; four sons, John of St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, Claire of St. Louis, Missouri, Ralph of Clovis, New Mexico, and Richard of El Paso, Texas; one daughter, Mrs Bill (Beverly) ALDERSON of Elgin; two brothers, John of Fremont and Clark of Kearney; two sisters, Mrs Laura CRISP of Norfolk and Mrs Harold (Olga) HANSEN of Fremont; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one grandson.
