Obituary-The Oakdale Sentinel-April 20, 1933

ROBERT WALLACE PADDEN

Robert Wallace PADDEN was born in the State of Illinois on February 28,1850. When a child he came with his parents to Iowa, where the town of Fredricksburg was founded by his father, Frederick PADDEN. Here he grew to manhood and on June 26, 1873 was united in marriage to Nan Warren. Six children were born to this union, all of whom are living. In the year of 1883, Mr PADDEN came to Oakdale and engaged in the hardware and implement business. His home being broken by the death of his wife in 1889, Mr PADDEN for the greater part of his remaining years, has resided in Kansas City, Missouri. He came to the home of his daughter, Mrs GRAVES in Oakdale on August 7 of last year. He was taken ill on November 13 and after five months of patient suffering departed this life on April 16, 1933. Funeral services were held Tuesday and burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery.
