EDISON THOMAS PELTON

Graveside rites will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Oakdale Cemetery for Edison Thomas PELTON, 93, Pullman, Washington. The Rev. Michael MONTGOMERY of Tilden will officiate. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First congregational united church of Christ in Sioux City, Iowa. The Rev. Henry held will officiate. He died Thursday, November 20, 1986 at Pullman after a brief illness. mr pelton was born March 17, 1893 at Clinton, Iowa. He moved to Sioux City where he worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. from 1914-58. He married Milly m. dodge June 9, 1927 at Tilden. After she died in March 1981 at Sioux City, he moved to Pullman to live with a son. Mr pelton was member of the Telephone Pioneers, First Congregational United Church of Christ, Morningside Lodge 615 AF&AM, High Twelve Club 1, Royal Arch Masons Chapter 26 and the Sioux City Scottish Rite Bodies. Survivors include two sons, Robert l of Seattle, Washington, and Donald d of Pullman; one brother, robert, and one sister, lottie Bell PATRICK both of Clinton; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A memorial has been established in his with he First Congregational United Church of Christ.
