ALBERT Z STOTTS

Funeral services were held at the Hoepfinger-Beyer Funeral Home in Neligh for Albert Z STOTTS on Friday February 19. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery. STOTTS, the son of Walter and Jessie (NICHOLS) STOTTS was born September 12, 1899 at Prem, Minnesota and died February 16, 1982 at his home in Neligh. He moved to Boyd County as a young boy and then to Oakdale in 1931. On June 22, 1932 he married Lillie Belle BLESH at Albion. In 1943 he bought a farm in the Brunswick area where he lived until he retired in 1975 and moved to Neligh. Survivors include his wife, a son, Albert E of Lincoln, a daughter, Mrs Darrel (Lillie) BOMBERGER of Firth, two brothers, Louie of Renton, WA, and William of Summer, WA, one sister, Mrs William (Rosie) MICHAELS of Gaston, Oregon, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.

LILLIE BELLE BLESH STOTTS

Funeral services for Lillie STOTTS, 84, of Neligh, were held Friday, March 8, 1991 at Hoepfinger Beyer Funeral Home in Neligh. Rev. Gary MAIN officiated. Burial was at the Oakdale Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clayton REUTZEL, Paul PALLESEN, Norman LARABEE, Vernon GOOD, Fred SCARLETT, and Andrew BEYER. Lillie Belle BLESH, daughter of William E and Lillie BLACK BLESH, was born July 4, 1906 at Oakdale. She graduated from Oakdale High School in 1925 and attended Wayne State College. She taught school for five years in western Nebraska and South Dakota. On June 22, 1932, she married Albert STOTTS in Albion. They farmed west of Brunswick and moved to Neligh in 1975. Mrs STOTTS died Tuesday, March 5, 1991 at the Neligh nursing center. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982, her parents, seven brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her son, Albert E STOTTS of Lincoln, a daughter Mrs Darrell (Lillie) BOMBERGER of Firth, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
