Judy A (GRIFFITH) WENICKER

Abridged: Funeral services will be held October 2 at the Calvary Bible Church for Judy Wenicker. Judy A Griffith, the daughter of Arthur and Shirley Yates Griffith was born September 30, 1964 in Blair. She attended school at Oakdale and Neligh where she graduated in 1984. She married Marvin Wenicker Jr. on February 7, 1992 at Lincoln. The couple lived in Oregon and in Beemer, West Point, Lincoln and Oakdale. She was employed as a housekeeper in Lincoln until her health began to fail. She died Tuesday, September 29, 1998 at the Neligh Nursing Center. Survivors include one son, Robbie of Oakdale, her mother and stepfather Robert Scholz of Oakdale, her father and stepmother Linda of Lincoln, two stepchildren, Joseph and Shelly of Lincoln, one brother, Artie of Oakdale, one sister, Kathi Henley of Oakdale, one half-sister, Rita Stute of Parks, two stepbrothers, Henry and Dustin James, both of Lincoln, six stepsisters, Michelle, Dionne Gorji, Lynda and Heather James, all of Lincoln, Elberta James of Biloxi, MS and Anita Kubert of Oakdale and three stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her grandparents. Interment was made in the Oakdale Cemetery.

MARVIN E WENICKER

Funeral services for Marvin WENICKER Jr, 51 of Neligh, were held Saturday, January 31, at Calvary Bible Church in Neligh. Pastor Steven REMBOLD and Pastor Curtis HINELINE officiated. Burial was at the Oakdale Cemetery under the direction of Beyer Funeral Home of Neligh. Pallbearers were Mike BRANDT, Artie GRIFFITH, Todd WILSON, Tom HENLEY, Russell MILLIKEN and Tony VARSPIR. Marvin E WENICKER, son of Marvin E. WENICKER and Frances LASSABE WENICKER, was born August 14, 1946 at Greenville, SC. He graduated from Pass Christian High School in Pass Christian, MS. On February 7, 1992, he married Judy GRIFFITH at Lincoln. While living in Lincoln, he worked as a taxi cab driver. They moved to the Neligh area in June, 1997, and to Pioneer Homes in Neligh in January, 1998. Mr WENICKER died Tuesday, January 27, 1998 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh. He was preceded in death by a brother. Survivors include his wife, his parents of Lincoln, a son, Joseph WENICKER and a daughter, Shelly, both of Lincoln; a step-son, Robbie GRIFFITH, at home; five grandchildren and a brother, Frank WENICKER of El Paso, Texas.
