Miss Vey Nichols spent the week end with homefolks at St Edward.

Mr and Mrs C H Sigea were visitors at Fullerton Tuesday.

Mrs. E L Knight and Mrs Grace Gerrard were week end visitors in Omaha.

Mr and Mrs John Harding and family of Central City visited with relatives here Sunday.

Mr and Mrs Chas Hanmer and Mrs Grace Gerrard were Columbus visitors Tuesday.

Mr and Mrs Clarence Sigea drove to Long Pine Saturday on business, returning home Sunday evening.

Mrs Irven Pratt is entertaining the Bridge Club at her home this Thursday afternoon.

Mr and Mrs Chas Hill came up from Omaha Saturday evening for a visit with relatives, returning home Sunday evening.

Mrs Reynold Ditter returned home Monday afternoon from the Columbus hospital where she recently underwent an operation. She is getting along nicely.

Mr and Mrs Milford Mott, Mr and Mrs Kenneth Hawkes and Miss Ruther Anderson enjoyed a watermelon feed with Mr and Mrs J M Bible and daughter, Isla, Monday evening.

Miss Anna Potter and Miss Martha Brockman and their Sunday Schol classes of the Evangelical Church enjoyed a watermelon party at the ClarenceWatts home last Friday evening.

Keith Lightner and Mr Evans of Sioux City, Iowa, visited here with the formers parents, Mr and Mrs Chas Lightner, Wednesday night. They are doing invoicing at the Council Oaks Stores in this territory this week.

Mrs D W Ziegler received word from her daughter, Mrs Roy Thurston, at Scio, Orengon, that her father-in-law, B S Thurston, died Wednesday morning, Sept 21, following an operation at Albany, Oregon. Mr Thurston was well known to our older readers, having lived here a good many years prior to the fall of 1910, when he moved with his family to Oregon, which has since been his home. His wife, was killed some years ago when struck by an airplane as it was landing. Mr Thurston was 66 years old. We join in extending sympathy to the breaved family.

Miss Martin Hoare spent the week end in Lincoln with her mother, Mrs. Anna Hoare, and family. She was accompanied by Mrs Ed Hoare and Master Lester Tiaden.

Mr and Mrs Erwin Schweiger and daughters returned to their home in Grand Island Monday ater a weeks visit with relatives here.
