[Note at end of document:
When we made our visit to Mt. Olive to copy cemetery records, we called upon Mr. Richard Hampton Stephens to learn the names of those who had recently been buried in the cemeteries. He showed us the burial certificates of ten burials made within a year, but he failed to state in which of the three cemeteries the interments were made. I am inclined to believe that Julia Caskey and Caroline Valentine were buried in the Union Cemetery rather than in the Pres. Cemetery.]
