These two grave are located at the foot of the Virgin Mountains in the Rock Cabin Wash. Their graves were originally marked with an old wooden grave board which was overgrown by brush.

James Brannon WALSH who, according to the coroner, was ill and fell from his cabin, thus dying from the fall.

Robert MASON who died from a gunshot wound, apparently accidental or self-inflicted.

Their 1917 mining claim was found by a local resident near their cabin. Someone has since removed it so no information is available. This is an ongoing research project.
