James d'Armond came to the United States from Ireland about 1735 and settled in Lancaster (Dauphin County) PA. His son, Thomas, born about 1730, was not the same Thomas DeArmond, born 1735 (Eire), who also settled in Dauphin Co PA, served in the Revolutionary War, and later had sons King, Alexander, Robert N., and Samuel. But there are enough similarities in the two to start this chart and watch for connections. Sources for data on this line are Brenda DeArmond, Heidi DeArmond, and Rebecca DeArmond.
