Rock, Felix, Partrick, and Francis - The following ROCK family went to Muscatine Co., IA ca. 1845. Felix Rock was among one of the earliest settlers of Champaign County, coming there with who I believe were his brothers, Patrick and Francis, about the same time Simon Kenton came. They may have been in the group that came up there with him from Kentucky, as they were found living in Bourbon Co., KY in the 1790's. By 1799 they were in Hamilton Co., OH. Patrick and Felix signed a petition that year and also among the signers of that petition was Simon Kenton. In 1803 Felix Rock married Mary "Polly" Kelly in Greene Co., and Frank, probably Francis, married Sally Fithian 1806 in Champaign Co. and Nancy Rock married Whitsel Carey in 1807. Nancy and Whitsel Carey are later found living in Springfield. Yutesler, Jasper⁶ (surname spellings vary), son of John Yutesler and Mary
        Magdalene Miller. Jasper is sometimes mentioned in records as
        "Casper or "Gasper". He was b) Jan 1834 in Carysville, Champaign
        Co. and married Mary Jane Fry 5 Oct 1857 in Champaign Co. They
        were living in Harrison Co. IA in 1870. They probably moved to IA
        around 1860. Mary Jane died in Harrison Co before 1920, but Jasper
         was still living in 1920. His death date is uncertain.
