WILLSHIRE - It is with great regret that we announce the death of Nathan Smith, an old citizen of this place. Mr. Smith was born in Fairfield County, Ohio, in 1839, later he moved to this city. He served in the civil war and received an honorable discharge. In 1898 he was taken sick but it was hoped that he would recover, and all things pointed that way, but it was soon evident that he was past human aid and from that time he has been slowly declining until last Saturday evening when he passed into the presence of God. Aged 63 years. His remains were taken to Fairfield County for burial Wednesday morning. The sympathy of the entire city is with the family. May God sustain them in this sad hour of their affliction.
