Hazel Azbell
Hazel Azbell, 57, Laurelville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at the Hocking Valley Community Hospital. 
She was born Oct. 18, 1944, in West Jefferson, the daughter of the late John M. and Ethel Tillis Wells. 
She is survived by four sons, Leroy D. (Julinda) Azbell of Corning, Lawrence Azbell of Springfield, Mo., Bill Azbell of Amanda and Timothy Azbell of Indiana; one daughter, Debra (Jake) Pryce of Laurelville; 18 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four brothers, Tom Wells of Belpre, John W. (Adaline) Wells of Pleasantville, Donald (Cindy) Wells of Lancaster and Richard (Gloria) Wells of New Lexington; and several nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy, in 2001. 
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Taylor Funeral Home, Amanda, with Pastor Terry Borah officiating. 
Burial will be at Morgan Chapel Cemetery. 
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
