Bonnie Friend
Bonnie L. Friend, 73, Lancaster, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Fairfield Medical Center. 
She was born Sept. 8, 1928, in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Oscar and Edith McLaughlin Leohner. 
She is survived by her husband, Carl Friend; son, Mark (Nikki) Friend of Lancaster; two daughters, Rebecca (Lawrence) Alspaugh of Lancaster and Anita (Dave) Hughes of Anthem, Ariz.; six grandchildren; three brothers, Paul (Kay) Leohner, Steve (Chris) Leohner of Lancaster and David (Loretta) Leohner of Rockbridge; three sisters, Betty Delong of Lancaster, Marjorie (Bob) Sander of Cincinnati and Sharon (James) Edwards of Maryland. 
Caring cremation has taken place. 
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. 
Memorial contributions may be made to Fairfield County District Library, 219 N. Broad St., Lancaster 43130.
