Thomas King Thomas E. King, 75, formerly of Hide-A-Way Hills, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany, Ind. He was born Aug. 3, 1926, in Thornville to the late Byron and Myrtle Hynus King. He served in the 3704th Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member of Carpenters' Local No. 200 for 50 years, was a member of EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) and AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association). Survivors include his daughter, Karen Rigby; and son, Steven King; grandson, Uriah King; brother, William H. King. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, James P. King. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Boring-Sheridan Funeral Home, Thornville Chapel, with the Rev. John Selvey officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Ridge Cemetery, Thornville. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
