Dobbs |
Hello I am researching the Dobbs family of Island Creek Township, Jefferson County, Ohio. My GGG Grandfather, Thomas Ambrose Dobbs, a distinguished Civil War Veteran is buried in the Union Cemetery. He married Malzenia Prator/Prather/Prater in Jefferson County Ohio 24 June 1866. I cannot seem to locate her grave site anywhere. I know she died in Toronto in 1913. Her family all resided there..so I am certain she is there without a tombstone...can anyone be of help? If anyone has information on either of these surnames in the area...please let me know. Also..I am interested in locating Esther Fowler of the same township.
Thank you! |
